We didn't make any plans for this summer as I had
my right knee replaced in late April and we didn't know how soon I would
recover. Well, I was very lucky and am walking and hiking better than
ever, so Bob thought it was time to get back on the road. He's always
wanted to go to Alaska, so we're setting off on an impromptu exploratory trip
in the height of the tourist/mosquito season to see how we like it.
